Sunset was bright and full of light and life. The shards of crimson cascaded across the newborn foliage.
Here is a fun one, I wrote about similar here, but I have grown and disagree a little, and agree a lot. Change is amazing! Trust is the topic!
Trust is something that is almost scary to many people. Allowing someone to control a small part or a large part of something you care about, including you, can be a nightmare. I find that there are levels of trust and actually took the time to write a whole paper about it after learning the true meaning of the words “Trust but Verify”. With that in mind, in the past I have trusted too quickly, and in doing so set myself up for disaster. I also found some good friends that I could trust by opening my trust to them and finding a path to trust more and more. Trust can be a many splendored thing.
As a species we need to find a way to trust, and along the way find a way to see past our bias and open up our world to more possibilities. It is a neat trick after all, trusting someone. Try it, open your heart a little at a time, and see where it goes.
So as the sun sets on another day, trust is a complex two way street filled with amazing possibilities. Open your mind, try to trust, or at least work your way towards a more trusting life, no matter what.
