The sun sets on another day…
Sunset was wonderful, and a little earlier as the sun split a path into the world from above the trees and opened our hearts for a moment.
Tonight we were invited into a home full of light and life. As two lives will soon be joined, dozens of others shared in the experience. Food, family, flavor, frolic, and fun were abundant as people from different ideas and walks of life communed in mutual respect. Unlike Social Media meanderings the night was filled with positivity, and a love for, well, love.
There are numerous books, movies, and other art forms that focus on the positives of people. Tonight as I watched and laughed I was amazed at the attentive hosts, the jocular jokesters, the pious watchers, and all the people who mingled. People can live on positives, and people can interact without the threat of negativity.
So as the sun sets on another day, my thought for today is the high path is there, take that high path and push for far more. Make the world a better place and set aside the negativity. Make today your best day ever without the need to find the minimals of the worst. As you do so, enjoy a smile, a laugh, and even a happy tear and as the sun sets, it will be a special day no matter what.
