The sun sets on another day…
Sunset was full of laughter and excitement as a large group played Incoherent Family. Talk about a serious laugh, it was healthy and wonderful. I smiled and thought about the previous days for a moment.
A song can carry your heart away. Songs can open the mind, or close it. A song can make you dance with glee, or lock you feet firmly to the ground. As I sit here tonight thinking about old songs, good times, and laughing with family I know the world is a better place because of music.
Enjoy a song, make a wish, dream a dream, and in between make the world a new world.
So as the sun set on another day, I think I will listen to a lot. Perhaps “To Sir With Love”, or “Sing”, or even the “Star Spangled Banner”. Each day is an adventure, enjoy yours with a little music, and perhaps “Remember” by Harry Nilsson is a place you will want to be. Be as happy as you can along the way, no matter what.
