The sun sets on another day…
There were moments of sun, and then clouds closed in again. I enjoyed every moment, even though the snow still came.
This morning I had to take a drive very early. Very very early. The normal drive is about 40 minutes. This morning it took over 2 hours. It wasn’t just because the roads were bad, they were. It was also because people just pushed the envelope and in the end I watched them fall to the side of the road and wait for a wrecker.
What was funny is that I have a ring called an Oura. A new feature added to it is stress and when we got to our destination I checked the ring and my stress was off the scale. I was paying attention to 10 things at once and still trying to make sure that I didn’t slide off the road at the slow speed I was going. Couple that with the Starfield of the snow coming down right at us and I can only say I was flying along at stress factor one.
It’s kind of funny that I didn’t really feel stressed, but it’s also kind of funny that the device on my hand picked up everything that was going on. It was actually a little fun watching people slide around and in my mind saying the words, I told you so.
What is it that causes you stress? How do you get out of that stress? My solution was laughing and telling dumb jokes at my destination until everyone around me was giggling. I had fun with that and I hope they did too. Life is good, and you just have to keep running over the stress and enjoying everything that you can.
So as the sun sets on another day, I hope you find a way to overcome the obstacles in your life. I hope you never sweat the petty things and don’t pet the sweaty things either. Simply have fun and enjoy yourself all that you can, no matter what.
Sleep sweet, love life, and 9° is pretty cold…
