The sun sets on another day…
It is a wonderful day no matter where you are, and where you have been. Even if it seems difficult now, it will get better as you realize that you have the choice to make it a good day. It is pretty normal to assume the world can be coming down on you, but it isn’t. I have said many times “you know the good lord never gives you more than you can handle, but I wish he would stop thinking so highly of me” and on those days, the world seemed to be closing in, and nothing could go right. That being said, I made the decision each day to do as well as I could with the hand I was dealt,
You should too, each day we are dealt a hand that may well be an impossible hand to win, but it is up to us to work through it and make the best of it as we can “hope” there is a tomorrow, but we cannot ensure there will be.
I have a friend that is going through a maelstrom at the moment.
She is young, with a daughter, and has had some pretty difficult cards dealt her however she has stood up and made her cards her own, and played them well. As she moved through her sunsets and enjoyed her life with her daughter I have no doubt she will make good decisions for herself, her family, and those people she loves dearly.
We should take her action and make a commitment to ourselves to roll with the punches, pay attention to our children, pay attention to ourselves, and live to be the happiest we can be always.
For those of you who don’t think so, it is time to change, time to pay attention to what makes you happy, then work your way down, instead of vice versa.
