The sun sets on another day…
…or so we think. As I sit working on an issue that I have kept alive for a long time, I wonder how we see the permanence of the sun and how it will be at the end of it’s life. Funny how we consider so many things as forever, and perhaps only a few really are forever. Perhaps we should consider everything as finite. After all, if we have 29,000 sunsets or so, how many items have an order of magnitude more, or less.
Perhaps a computer will not live forever, but maybe we should consider that love can live forever, and in the process, love can take us further than we have ever been before. Perhaps passion should be on the list of forever, as who cannot feel the passion of Melville or Bach.
So as the sun sets on another day, let’s consider that we should look for forever, in everything we do.
