The sun sets on another day…
You know, sometimes I think songwriters are reading our minds. It is a scary thought but consider all the songs that come on that are similar to what you feel, or what you experienced. Consider the poetry that flows from the lips of a singer, and how much talent they have for not only speaking the words, but for forcing us to feel beyond what we see and know, perhaps touching us at the core. Singers like Christina Aguilera have a voice that can move mountains and there are many that will pull a tear out of the most stoic man or woman.
Perhaps we should all consider the songs that truly touch us, mean something to us, make us feel, remind us of a special someone or a special time, or just get us to stand and feel proud. Perhaps we need to keep those songs close to our heart.
