The sun sets on another day…
Last night as the wind and storm passed by I considered the depth of power that nature inflicts upon us. Nature can truly tax us to new limits and as I drove by the aftermath today it was obvious damage had been done. Fortunately it was surface damage. Trees had fallen, houses had been hurt, garages crushed, and people scared, but all that can fade away as the damage is repaired. Only the memories remain and people need to move past the fear and instead live life.
So too it is with people. People can cause damage, leave rubble (not Barney) and cause immerse tolls on people physically and mentally, but all of that can be repaired if we just allow it and in the end the damage can be repaired. Only the memories remain and people need to move past the fear and instead live life.
So as the sun sets on another day, clean the damage, heal from the wound, sweep up the debris, and release the fear and pain, no matter what.
Sleep sweet, love life, and enjoy every moment as if there is no tomorrow, to the moon and back…
