Easing through the hidden path…

The sun sets on another day…

Today I did not expect a sunset to be seen, the clouds were thick and thunder rang above like steady beating drums in the Congo. As it came closer to sunset a glimmer of pink lit the far sky and I raced to the car to get a shot of a sunset. (Overly obsessed if you ask me)

As I found several places and got several pictures I considered how sometimes the paths in life are not clear, and we have to take chances to find the path we should be on. I considered writing today about a clear path to tranquility but as I pondered tranquility and the many paths I have walked I realized there was no “clear path” and only a series of paths that may lead to tranquility, but do not guarantee such.

So what is tranquility? By definition tranquility is calm (more or less) and how can you find the calm within a maelstrom like we currently live in? How can we find peace when chaos abounds. In my opinion we should look at our path daily and adjust our sights towards being calm. I know a lot of people who as they age become more fiery of heart, and lose the tranquility they should gain, and many who go the other way, but I choose to be tranquil at all times unless it is necessary to not be so. (That is another story). I suggest to everyone that peace of heart and calm is a much better state than constant chaos. After all, will the world end if there is no Pokeball today, will people change their opinion of you if you are wearing a two weak old shirt, is your hair more important than a moment of reflection? Is your appointment more important than just slowing down for a moment?

I would say there are about a million of these question, perhaps more, but my point is, take a breath and take the calm path rather than embracing anger. Trust me, anger can be a hard path.

So as the sun sets on another day, be calm, and do something fun today, no matter what…

Sleep sweet, love someone, and live your life like no one has before…
