The sun sets on another day…
I sat today watching the wind. I know I know, it is hard to see the wind but easy to see the sun and the sunset. I watched the wind because I watched what was in the wind. There were cool breezes blowing, and gusts of pure power pelting the beach. After a time, I closed my eyes and let the moments envelop me, and in the process I heard more, and saw more as the sun cross the sky over me. Getting up, I wandered the beach looking at the world. I saw people enjoying life as it was meant to be, and in the process saw a man pulled from the ground with a kite, and multiple people fighting with the tents. The seagulls though, costed on the wind with no effort, rising and lowering with the gusts, not fighting it, just going with the flow.
Sometimes the positives and negatives of life try to overwhelm us, we walk through the wind fighting it and trying desperately to overwhelm things we cannot truly fight. In the process we become tired, or worse are filled with despair. Instead of trying to walk through the wind, we need to work with the situations we are given, and find that place where we can ride the waves, and find out way though without destroying what we have. We truly need to enjoy the moments, and make our lives happy by avoiding the bad, and walking through the wind.
I see people every day filled with despair, and we need to help, but sometimes the best way to help is to show people a way to succeed without explaining, and find our way and walk the path for others to follow.
So as the sun sets on another day, remember that every moment of every day can try to overwhelm us, but we can be strong. Strength is not trying to be the strongest, it is knowing when to be the strongest, and when not to be. It is walking through the wind with the wind and not fighting it, it is finding a way when no one else easily saw it. Take a moment, enjoy your time, and live every day the best you can, no matter what.
