The sun sets on another day…
Here we go round the sun, day by day, each and every day, in a never ending cycle of sunrises and sunsets, but the sun is always on our planet, always lighting us up somewhere, even if we can’t see it.
It is exciting that there are those type of people in our lives sometimes. Never ending, they light up our lives each day, whether we can see them or not. Often, people don’t realize the depth of the effect they have had one someone, nor do they realize that in some way, each relationship sets a permanent path for us to follow, slightly affected by the last, and moved forward each and every day by every interaction. Each moment we interact with someone we are becoming a new person, built by the sum of who we are, how we decide to learn from each person is up to us. Never never never forget them, make them a never ending part of who you are daily.
Doesn’t it feel good when you remember that special person that changed your life a little for the better. Remember that grandmother that was always encouraging, the friend that was there for you in a difficult time, the girlfriend or boyfriend that looked into your eyes and made you feel warm and fuzzy all over. Those are the special times that make us better people.
Even the failures in the past, those difficult moments, make us so much better. The people from your past that broke your heart made you appreciate them even more, and those people that hurt you helped you find a way to be stronger. Don’t set these memories aside, look for the positive ones that help you build a better present. consider that each thing that made you, was a good thing, even if it hurt at the time.
So as the sun sets on another day, whatever your past, remember that you can’t live in it, nor can you simply hope for a good future, you have to live every day to its fullest, and make yourself take the better path, no matter what.
