The sun sets on another day…
It was an amazing presunset today as I drove and drove and drove. I drove and drove, and drove, and made it home to see colors cascade across the trees, and then it was gone as darkness closed in.
There are a lot of things in the world that are really awesome, and some things that are not. Sometimes you have to deal with the ones that are not to enjoy the ones that are. Yeah, I know, it is a pain, but in order to see the view from the top of the mountain, you have to get to the top of the mountain. That may not be as easy. We do ti though and find a way to be happy with the journey and the destination.
There are also those things that are right no matter what. It is equally as correct to fight for the right, even if it is not guaranteed to end as well as you may think. We fight for the right, without question or pause. It is the right thing to do. Sometimes it is just a moment that we need to take us to the next level, and sometimes, well sometimes it is a moment more.
I know, I know, this is all from a song, but I wanted today for everyone to think about the journey we go through to be who we are, and remember, we have to sometimes fight to be better, and put up with silly stuff, and somewhere in the middle we find a way.
So as the sun sets on another day, well, push through the tough moments and remember there is a rainbow at the end. Let’s make every day a great day all the time, even when it starts out less than great.
