The sun sets on another day…
The sunset was beautiful then hidden giving a great picture perhaps obscured a little, and maybe a little more. A gentle breeze blew across the lake as I thought about the messages I had received today. While I watched the colors and the leaves blow I considered words sent to me today.
It was a simple statement, “I’m happy with the lessons you taught me that made me who I am today.”
Isn’t that all we can ever ask? To give someone a gift and pass down something special. Not to be all over or force, but to give and have it received.
Well, it made my day at least, and made this 1 day, of my 29000 or so, sunsets really special.
So as the sun sets on another day, be good to your children, and give them the lessons they need, and along the way, have a lot of fun with them, no matter what.
