The sun sets on another day…
It was a warmer day, well, it was a warmer day if you compare it to many. As the night air rolled in the day switched to cool, and the air became crisp and could pull the breath from you for an instant. Still, the sunset was beautiful, and after, well after was a barrage of colors.
You know, making a difference can be a challenge. Sometimes is is straight forward, sometimes it is not, but always it is a way to act, a way to be, and a way to make the world a better place. I thought about this a lot today as I drove and watched the sunset as life is a never ending series of changes, and sometimes, making a difference means making a change. Sometimes making people change with you, is making a difference.
So how have you made a difference? If you could choose, how would you make a difference? Is there a light that shines from you or on you? It is a tough question.
I choose to adapt, to find a way to shine a light, and if the light is not bright enough, then to redouble my efforts and shine more light. There is little chance of catching fire if you are not willing to light the way.
I like that.
So as the sun sets on another day, let’s find a way to do more, be more, find more, and in the end make a difference. We can make a difference if we only try, and sometimes a little is all it takes. Make that difference and make today your pathway to something better, no matter what.
