A look of surprise…

The sun sets on another day…

This afternoon while driving in an interesting icy snow storm a young lady passed me in a car. As she drove by I glanced over and saw a look of complete and utter surprise and chaos on her face. I can only consider how young she was and how few times she had been through such an interesting driving experience as the potential reason for this look.

I remember when I first drove in snow and I must have had a similar look on my face wondering what was around the next corner and how I was going to handle it. Don’t get me wrong it’s not all bad, it just is something new. I was amazed by the star field type view in front of me, and played in the slippery wet sloppy snow.

You know often we are measured how we handle the new stuff and how we adapt to those things we have never experienced before. Having to find a way of getting there and experiencing that new stuff even when we have “that look” on our face it is a journey though life that we can just enjoy! All we have to do is pay attention, and enjoy the ride.

So as the sun sets on another day let’s take a moment to experience those new experiences and instead of being a little apprehensive be excited and amazed. There is no better day to learn than today, no better outcome from today than tomorrow. Enjoy them both, no matter what.

Sleep sweet, love life, and reach for the moon…
