Tracks in the snow…

The sun sets on another day…

Maybe I should change that to the snow falls on another day, what do you think?

I was walking outside at after 10:00 tonight in the snow. I pause for a second for you to scratch your head in wonder at why I would be walking in the dark in the snow. The answer is simple, to walk the several hundred yards to the end of the driveway and put out the garbage. (Makes more sense now). As I walked I used the flashlight to see in front of me and noticed there were no tracks where I was going. It made me smile, why? Because I was forging a new path that had not been walked before. Well, a path that had not been walked on in this new snow before.

It is funny when we see a bunch of paths in front of us, and we start walking one that looks untraveled, knowing it has been traveled before. There are a lot of paths in life like that that are just waiting for us to travel them, the tracks underneath long since covered. Does it matter? Absolutely not. Whether it is a new path or an old path the path you travel is your path now. This path is yours to walk, run, laugh, sing, skip, jog or frantically zig zag across as you see fit. After all, this is your life and it is 100% what you make it. In the end only you can choose, and only you are responsible for all of it. That being said you should make it a good one, and press every path with all of the gusto that you can, making each day and forged road that you are proud of one way or another. (I like that one way or another thing)

So what is your path? Is it a good one? Are you enjoying the way? Do you have your flashlight? Are you finding a path that makes your days great days? Try it, I think, yes, it is an opinion, that every day can be pretty good if we let it be. Find your day, make it great, and enjoy it, no matter what.

Sleep sweet, love life, and smile for the camera…
