Fast enough…

The sun sets on another day…

Sunset was once again very telling. A good picture of it can be found here. I have been taking it a little slower right now and did not make it to the beach.

I spent a lot of time with my kids this weekend. I considered well how time had moved along, and how it affected me. My oldest daughter, for example, is now super successful, super fit, and a force to be reckoned with. I remember like it was yesterday holding her in one hand almost completely. My son, who was born so strong he flipped himself as the nurse cleaned him is now a man, and my youngest daughter is a success at HR and formidable in her own way.

It is a sad thought to be sure that this time is so short to me. I have heard people say that time is moving too slow, and I can only reply time is fast enough. I suggest we cherish it, grab it, hold onto it and make it ours every day. Sound tough? Don’t let it be! The world is a place of fantastic and fabulous fantasies and realities, and they need to be experienced. Experience them, one at a time, and let time, well, let time be fast enough.

So as the sun sets on another day, I spent more time considering all the great things in my life, and all the happy times. I find happy times are harder to hold than the negative ones, but so much more worth it if you grab on and make them yours. I do that, every day, and make the happy times the ones to live, and the happy ones I try to be “slow good” and just “fast enough”. Take your time, find those happy times, and enjoy them every day. After all, a life is a better life if you live it. Make today yours, then tomorrow, then the next day, and every day will be yours, no matter what.

Sleep sweet, love life, and take your time…
