The sun sets on another day…
Today is Sunday and I got to spend a great time taking pictures. A few moments can make a day, a few moments made mine.
When your day begins do you wonder how it will end? Do you see the best of the day as your day or do you see something else? Today I met a couple and began talking (I will pause here as you gasp in wonder at my engagement with other people). As I spoke to them they pointed out what made their day great today. It was not a minor issue, nor was it massive, it was a great accomplishment they had been a part of, and they were happy for it.
Sometimes having a good day is only partially about you. Sometimes having a good day is about being part of something bigger than just you.
Over the years I have found that the things that stand out as amazing have been about others as well. Think about it. What makes you the happiest? Is it having ice cream or having ice cream with someone special. Is it winning or being part of a winning team. Sometimes it is great to see that little extra. Sometimes it really means more.
So as the sun sets on another day, be part of those things that make you see more about life Be part of a bigger picture and maybe the world will be a better place because of you.
