The sun sets on another day…
Well, here it happened again. I was stuck in traffic and the sunset was spectacular! I knew I could not get to a camera, but wow, I enjoyed the show. The colors and clouds were unreal, and there was little that could have made it better.
Someone may say it could have been better if only. If only it could, it would be splitting hairs to even say such, as nothing could be better than the moment you are in, when you are in that moment. Saying it another way, each moment is as good as it will be for you, it is up to you to make it better or the best, and only you can choose how you see it.
Here we are, in a split second, a sunset, that comes and goes. How do we say it is not fantastic, how do we measure in that split second and compare or even look at anything else but the wonder around us. How can we see past the moment we are in? A better question is why should we? Isn’t it more important to enjoy the moment? I sat in my car and I enjoyed an amazing sunset, there were others, sure, but this one right now was the best ever if only for that split second.
So as the sun sets on another day, enjoy your time. Enjoy all the moments around you. Find that moment and make it even more, and in the process realize that nothing is better than your moment to you, and you alone can measure that. Enjoy it, love it, and live it, no matter what.
