The sun sets on another day…
The sunset was hidden high about the clouds tonight. Lost in the myriads of lightning, and darkness, but still there if we imagine it, still there if we just look.
It is amazing what you will find if you only look. There is a world full or people, a world full of passion, a world full of excitement. It is there if you open your eyes and look. It is for you if you take the time to embrace it. So many people can see it, but they only step a few steps forward, and don’t reach out and grasp the world. Those that do make a difference to themselves and everyone around them.
I spend a lot of time watching people and interacting. There are so many people. So many opinions. so many juxtapositions of life. It is rare I find people that are so full of life that they overflow. I have to admit, I may be a little over the top. Somewhere along the way I occasionally find the same. Those people that are so over the top that I smile.
Tonight while in an airport I talked to someone for only a few minutes that will have a great life in the future. They can see the world through the eyes of someone who sees more, and dreams more. I have only seen it a few other times, once while, well, in an airport. I hope the person I met for a moment today is as successful as the one I met so many years ago, and the others who literally pump life into the world. I wish everyone could do the same.
Take a moment, realize how precious the moment you just took is, and how much of a difference you can make in only that moment. In the process, make the world yours. Let everyone know you are there, and find a way to passion, no matter what.
So as the sun sets on another day, I would love to say it is just another day, but it is never just another day. Every day is a chance for more, every hour an hour that could be filled with more than the world gives you, but instead what you give the world. Feel life, live life, and make passion more than just a word, make it a way of life!
