Not quite forgotten…

The sun sets on another day…

I am going through a bunch of boxes and throwing away things that have been in boxes for a long time. Well, mostly throwing away papers and things that meant a lot once, but now mean little or things that meant nothing and still mean little. As I was going through papers I found a mini composition book.I knew it right away and opened it to a few writings I had played with so I thought I would share.

Sunset

The trees reach hungrily for the descending crimson orb creeping ever so slowly from the sky

Their once green leaves now dark with the shadows of the night to come

colors play across the now magenta horizon as once again dusk passes us to the embrace of the dark night

Peace transforms the night and silence is upon us as only twilight can deliver

—AAS 2001

So as the sun sets on another day, I guess I have liked sunset for a long time. Well, my whole life. After all, if you only have 29000 why not enjoy every one.

Sleep sweet, love life, and live your passion…
