Flick of a finger…

The sun sets on another day…

The sunset was amazing, maybe a little more. Another day, another sunset, another series of miracles.

I was laughing at a movie today, no I did not watch it today, it just played in my head for a second. I thought about it simply because I had a fun day and cleared a few boxes, finding an antique dagger in one. I spun the knife for a second, put it away and was reminded of Tim Curry in the Three Musketeers. The quote was between him and Rebecca DeMornay:

Cardinal Richelieu : A word of caution, milady. A snap of my fingers, and you could be back on the block where I found you.

Milady : And with a flick of my wrist, I could change your religion.

Cardinal Richelieu : You’re very persuasive.

Obviously she had her knife in a persuasive place. The trick was there was no leading up to this, and the character of Tim Curry (The Cardinal) was unaware of his position in the little back and forth. Isn’t that how life sometimes is? Sometimes we think we are in one position, and suddenly we are in another. How many times has this happened to you? How many times do you think you are in one situation, only to find this is not that kind of story, and you are in a different one. Maybe that is how 2020 is being right now. We thought it was going one way, then “poof” it goes somewhere else.

The trick is to enjoy it either way, and look at the issue and just say, “You are very persuasive” then move on. Pretty much the best way to deal with things, right?

So as the sun sets on another day, who knows which way the day will go, but you will come out on top because you adapt to the world, and enjoy it right? Well, I hope you do and hope you have an amazing day, no matter what.

Sleep sweet, love life, and wowsers!
