The sun sets on another day…
Here we are, the rain has come and mostly gone. The waters are high, but they will recede. Somewhere above me there is a glorious sunset, and I can close my eyes and imagine it for a moment. Smile to myself, and enjoy the moment. Fun huh?
The next several days will be sunshine and warm weather. Maybe not as much tomorrow, but it is here. Still, I will enjoy it no matter what. You know, sometimes all we want is a little more sunshine, sometimes all we want is that glimpse of sunshine, maybe that’s all we need sometimes. Maybe we just need that glimpse of sunshine to put us over the edge and set us up for a better day, a better week, a better time? You know what? Its there. The sunshine is up there, hangin out and shining, we just aren’t closing our eyes and looking.
I know the world looks pretty rough right now. I can tell you that I feel it too. I feel how different everything is now, all the words flying, changes to who we are, changes to who we can be. In the end we are who we are, and maybe we just need to close our eyes, watch the sunset and wait for the rain to pass. There will be a little more sunshine. There will be better days. Let’s wait for them together, and make them as awesome as we know we can.
So as the sun sets on another day, its out there. Sure, there is rain, sure there are clouds, but the sunshine is still shining on us, lets make it an amazing day every day, no matter what.
