The sun sets on another day…
Today was clear, and sunset impressive, but the wind was strong and blew without end on the beach and in the woods.
In the woods, where I live, the trees bent from side to side as the wind pummeled them, but this time they did not break. The wind was harsh, but the trees rebounded all the time, and held fast.
I find that the world if full of strong winds. The winds that test us and push our envelopes trying to break us. They can come from a variety of sources. Other people, situations, or more insidious places that we don’t realize until too lat. All of them bend us and test us often, and unlike our trees, we can choose to overcome each one. We have that ability to chose, we have the ability to overcome anything we choose.
In that, we are the difference, in that, we overcome and can overcome any obstacle.
Hmm, I think that even makes good sense.
So as the sun sets on another day, don’t let the storm take you down, don’t let the wind be anything but in your sails. Make the world yours each day, and help the world be a better place because you stand up and deliver when some break, or bend to far. The wind is can be tough, but we can all be tougher if we chose. Choose to be tougher, every day, no matter what.
