The sun sets on another day…
Sunset was, well, it was there. I was impressed with the sunset but not so happy with how fast the western haze swallowed it. Still, it is always good to see any moment of sunset, even when you know it is high above.
Mistakes are a normal part of life. Let me repeat that, mistakes are a normal part of life. In the old days you had to say that 3 times to make it stick, or so I was taught.
You know, life is full of mistakes even if we don’t want to admit it. We grow through these mistakes and become stronger. We change our habits, approach life differently, or we don’t and we fail again. Still, we do make mistakes and it is not a good thing to avoid them. Life is about growth and taking chances, and laughing every moment whether your outcome is good or bad. Bad you say? Well good gives you happiness, and bad gives you experience which takes you closer to happiness because you learn. Either way you win.
I have made my share of mistakes, and your share, and his share, her share, their share and a few more shares. The funny thing is sometimes the ones you might consider mistakes are not the ones I consider mistakes. Sure, not taking all full ride at IBM was stupid, but it allowed me to struggle and make my way forward on my own. Sure I chose some bad situations, but each one had a high point or taught me well. How about you? Is your life full of positives? or are there things you learned from an appreciate?
Consider it.
So as the sun sets on another day, I made a bad mistake. Perhaps it will be bad but perhaps I will change fore the better because of it. I think I can make it better each day and find happiness, no matter what.
