The sun sets on another day…
It’s interesting that there is a sunset somewhere high above, but before me now lays the curious mists of weather gone wild. A few hours ago, it was in the 80s, and now it just fell below sixty degrees. Brrr, it’s a bit brisk.
A lot of times in life, we run into situations where it seems like everything changed all at once. We thought things were good and then suddenly we thought they were not so good. In reality, the world is what it is and good, bad, or indifferent is just in how we interpret it.
Now it’s easy to interpret things like my weather today as something negative, but if you turn the dial just a little bit and look at it another way, there’s going to be color and it’s going to be greatly beautiful. It’s going to be very beautiful all around very soon as we switch from the summer seasons to the fall and eventually the winter.
Where I’m at in Alabama right now, there’s not much of a winter. I have to admit, a few years ago and even last year, some of the freezes were pretty heavy. But in reality, it’s not all that bad. As I look around and see all of the trees, I’m wondering if we get to the 40s or right around it if the world is in for a change.
How do you handle change? How do you handle it when things don’t go the right way? Do you immediately go to the negative? Or do you find a pathway or some type of positive to bring yourself up? It’s a difficult question, but I hope you can take a moment and think about it.
So as the sun sets on another day, it’s a good day. It’s always a good day because I choose to make it a good day. Other people might think of the negative side, but even in the darkest night, even when the light doesn’t shine on any of us, there’s a positive to hold on to, even if it’s just that we have one more minute together. I appreciate your, I appreciate your reading, and I appreciate the fact that all of you are out there and hope that you realize that even in the coldest day, you’ll always be in the warmth of my heart, no matter what.
Sleep sweet. Sleep sweet, love life, and brrr, it’s cold outside…
