The sun sets on another day…
Wouldn’t it be nice if pictures could speak. If words could flow from an image and in not be some inane meme or motivational quote that was one step from a fortune cookie. Wouldn’t it be nice if the fires and passions could be felt as though you were a part of them?
As I watch each sunset I can see, I am always in awe of how they speak, the power and intensity, the feelings of wonderful moments, and fiery times for us all to see. Wouldn’t it be nice to feel the sunset as it is setting and hear the words it might say. Close your eyes, er, well, don’t do that yet. In a moment I would like you to close your eyes after you read this. When you do take a minute and consider all the things we have to be thankful for daily. Take a moment and think of all the things others are thankful for, and imagine each sunset speaks those words not just to those who are thankful, but to all of us. Listen to the words, and be thankful for what you have, what you might have, and what you will have every day. Then smile for a moment, and enjoy the evening.
So as the sun sets on another day, sometimes we forget about all the words that are unspoken and how much they can mean. Listen to your heart, each and every day, and listen to your own thanks, no matter what.
