The sun sets on another day…
Another snowy day, another tractor ride down the drive, and another day to consider at all.
I’ve read a lot of books about chance. “Chance and Chaos” was a lot of fun and continued to fascinate me about mathematics, weather patterns, and patterns in seemingly impossible situations. There are a lot of books that really focus on how chance affects our lives.
I find it can all be summed up in those two little words that so many situations are based on, “What if”.
I know, I know, there are a lot of people that don’t even think about “what if”. In truth we shouldn’t spend a whole lot of time with it because isn’t it either whining about the past or pining about the future? Still sometimes “what if” gives us that ability to see to the next level. “What if” can let us see further and in the process help us and to understand what we couldn’t see a moment ago. It can also help us to understand why there is more and how to be more.
Take just a moment and consider. It doesn’t have to be anything amazing it just has to be a situation that might change your world. It could be something that opens your eyes to a larger picture. It could be something as simple as someone giving you a hug that you never thought you would see again. It could be almost anything. Still just consider for a moment “what if”.
OK, time’s up.
So as the sun sets on another day, I just had to think about chance for a few minutes today to realize I took a chance doing it. Now I’m going to focus on new challenges from the very real question, “What if”. in the process I hope I can make things better for at least one person, no matter what.
Sleep sweet, love life, no matter what period..
