The sun sets on another day…
Sunset is always amazing, and each sunset makes me appreciate them all just a little more.
I get lost in all the books I have read and sometimes consider a few lines. A lot of people have considered this one:
But, soft! what light through yonder window breaks?
It is the east, and Juliet is the sun.
Arise, fair sun, and kill the envious moon,
Who is already sick and pale with grief…
Who cares, right? It is Shakespeare and just an old bit of writing, or is it? I have found that a great deal of writing translates very well if you just pay attention. Imagine loving someone so much that your world is built around them. Imagine each morning as you wake having your first thought be about how amazing they make your life. After all the sunrise can easily symbolize the dawn of a new day. Imagine feeling so much for someone that you personify a celestial figure and put it below that person. Imagine for a moment that the beauty and passion of a person could make the universe bow in submission.
I have found that this is all I ever really wanted in life. I’ve found that feeling that intensity is easy but finding someone that feels it back isn’t so easy. Still, I believe in passion and I believe that this is what each of us should strive for each and every day.
So as the sun sets on another day take a moment and find the passion inside of you and what it takes to make you feel it. Realize that books and poetry may well open your mind and in the process let your mind be open two infinite possibilities, no matter what.
Sleep sweet, love life, and live it…
