The sun sets on another day…
Sunset was fantastic and I was in awe with the plethora of colors. The last moments spattered color across the clouds and made the skyline a magnificent lightshow.
My night was filled with music and fun. People were enjoying themselves as we listened to Jeremie Albino and his well planned songs and funny dialogue. What seemed awkward was actually genuine and soon the audience was laughing and engaged with his music. He was not as so many, forceful and outlandish but instead he possessed a level of realism that was refreshing.
As I listened to one song, Storm, his words actually pulled me in and I could feel the thunder around me. Couple that with him playing all the instruments and, well, I was impressed. You can listen to it here.
The main band was awesome as well as St. Paul & The Broken Bones played and brought down the house, but I will always remember one man working the stage with all his heart. One man who brought an audience to laughs and following along. One musician that said thank you after each applause. It was humbling.
So, as the sun sets on another day, enjoy music, enjoy people, and laugh all you can along the way, no matter what!
Sleep sweet, love life, and listen…
