The sun sets on another day…
No, I am not talking about my book, “A Slice of Passion” but instead the passion we all can have, and how it is there for us if we want it.
I was lost in thought tonight as I thought about passion. I suppose you could say I was in the “Dicken’s” version thinking about passion of the past, the present, and of passion yet to be. I considered writing an entire story based on it, stopped, and decided instead to relate here for a few.
I have written about passion more than a few times. If you consider the over 2100 posts I have made passion is mentioned in over 70% of them in some manner. After all, without passion there can be no growth, no days, no moving forward. Without passion there is little worth doing.
Passion is defined as a “strong and barely controllable emotion” and I have passion for quite a bit. It seems I have a never ending supply and some of that passion is always applied to learning more. Passion can grow, and passion can become more, but it never really dies. There is always a spark left to rekindle easily.
What is your passion? Is it a person? Place? Thing? Is it a feeling? Is it more? What makes you more passionate about something? Do you understand your passion? Do you understand others and their passions? Do you see how passions align?
Take a moment today, take a slice of your passion and savor it. Feel the passion roll over you, and as you do pay attention to all the things around you and the passion they bring.
So as the sun sets on another day, passion is exciting and amazing. Every day is an opportunity to be passionate, and make the day better in some way. Find your passions and let some of them make your world better until you can see the positives in the world. You are the solution, no matter what.
Sleep sweet, love life, and live with all your heart…
