The sun sets on another day…
Sunset was, well, soggy. Still, soggy is not all bad and the cold reminded me of how fun fall can be. It was crispy, and more than a little moist.
I laugh a lot at the twists in life. You know, those fun things you don’t expect but have to roll with, no matter what? It wasn’t too long ago that I tried to change some of those twists, or overcome them, or somehow come up with a solution that worked. In the end I only looked foolish sometimes, and desperate others. I found there is a better way.
All those things that are lining up to put the kibosh on you, well, they are not as important as you. You need to put you at the top of your list and accept no substitutes. You need to realize you cannot save the world, or anyone else if you cannot save yourself.
There are so many examples I could not possibly list them all, but I can say, there is a lot to consider, and you have to evaluate every one. If someone does not believe in you, it is time to let them go. If a situation is not winnable, sometimes you have to walk away or realize that it is unwinnable. If you love, and are not loved, maybe it is time for a change. In the end only you will know for sure.
So as the sun sets on another day, the world twists but you don’t have to. Make each day spectacular, and as you are doing so find your way to a slice of happiness, no matter what.
