The sun sets on another day…
Sunset was on its way to being awesome. A small crack in the clouds gave a fantastic light show, then closed the curtains on another day.
I talk a lot about being positive and get passive suggestions to people on taking control. I have said over and over to live in the present. Specifically to not whine about the past or pine over the future but instead define your best day every day.
Still, I hope I have not forced anything. I said smile to someone once and they went a little nuts thinking I was being condescending. I wasn’t. Sometimes when someone is being difficult to you it is easier to smile, nod and go on. They did not see that and it was a funny conversation. (That was probably condescending but hey)
At any rate, when I started this blog a long time ago my purpose was to help my children. I have gotten notes from many that they like it too, and it has take a life of its own. In the end, it is just a suggestion. In the end, you have to decide how you will react and do the things that are necessary. It is all up to you.
So as the sun sets on another day, I hate to quote Airplane (Well, I love to really) but the decision to proceed is yours. Enjoy life all you can. BE the person you want to be, and remember, it is all up to you, no one else. Be the person you want to be not because of anyone, but in spite of anyone. I hope you find your best self every day, no matter what.
