The sun sets on another day…
Another amazing rainy day. At the end I thought the sun would shine through, but I was wrong. Still, somewhere high above there was beauty, and it was still beautiful here.
A poem for today:
I couldn’t
I couldn’t talk today and I found there came tomorrow
I couldn’t find my way as I walked into the night
I carried much with me and found a heavy cargo
I know that in the darkness you may be my light
I couldn’t laugh today and I found another instant
a world far away that wandered to the dawn
I carried on alone without compass, clock, or sextant
I wondered where I was but I knew that I was gone
I couldn’t see today and I heard the twilight pass me
I couldn’t find the light or darkness near or far
I stumbled and I rumbled until I found that I was free
and the world went on around me and still I was apart
why in the world can’t we see where we are
why in the world can’t we talk
why in the world don’t we sense near and far
why in the world do we balk
I wish I knew
So as the sun sets on another day, I’ll analyze this since it was sprayed out of my head. Makes for a fun evening. I hope you have spectacular times and change the world always.
