The sun sets on another day…
Sunset was awesome as I tried to take a picture in a moving car on unfamiliar streets as we weaved in and out of traffic. It makes for an exciting concept, but it was a lot of fun anyway.
I had the opportunity today to interact with a large group of people who had no idea who I was. That’s always a lot of fun, and it happens to me occasionally. It is usually enjoyable at author or work events because people tend to know or remember me because of my size. Yesterday at a public location, I just had fun as me. That was pretty interesting.
In the end, that’s what we usually have. We are us, and we have to deal with all that just as if we were meeting people for the first time. A focused group is much easier since you can talk to people and infer who they are. When you’re out in the middle of nowhere, and someone knows you, you have to guess where they know you from. Some people also like to play with you if you have a name tag on. Of course, you can also do the same and play with people when they have a name tag on.
I like people dynamics because there are people there. Sure alone is fun sometimes, but people make the world a better place.
Take a moment and greet the people around you when you’re out and about. Take a moment and don’t be a fly on the wall but instead buzz around a little. Whether you are an introvert or extrovert, there is always someone to interact with that aligns with you if you only find them. I’ll give you a hint. The key is that you have to look.
So as the sun sets on another day, take a moment and remember you’re not alone in this big world. Take a moment and remember that it wouldn’t be as fun even if you wanted to be. Then take a moment for yourself because you deserve that moment, and enjoy each and every day, no matter what.
Sleep sweet, love life, and make it a good one…
