The sun sets on another day…
Sunset was cloudy, dark, and darker. That’s a bunch of descriptors that you really don’t want hanging around sunset, but I enjoyed it anyway and I felt the world was complete as the day went on.
It’s funny that so many people are too hot in the summer and too cold in the winter. I am finding right now that summer sounds like a bit of fun as cold air rips and grasps at all of us who are braving the elements.
I think it would be nice for it to be summer again every other day, or maybe even every 3rd day. I really like the snow and I like winter but there comes a point in time where you look at it all and smile and nod. Winter’s coming and there will be another fun one I am sure.
Still drama winter offers the possibilities of enjoying time with people inside and enjoying life and all the pieces of it. So I won’t look a gift horse in the mouth and instead I will enjoy my days as long as I can. After all, that’s all any of us can do.
So as the sun sets on another day, enjoy the time you have and if you decide to live in Michigan enjoy the snow because you’re going to have some from time to time. Just remember though, even in the coldest night the promise of summer is still there. Find your way to remember the summer breezes, no matter what.
