The sun sets on another day…
It was a stunning sunset. There are no words that I can say that will describe it in a light that does it any justice. A small cloud bank hovered on the western sky and the sunset shimmered both above and below. The colors were extreme but it was the exciting wisps of white clouds that made it even more beautiful. Of course I was driving and couldn’t easily get a picture. Ouch.
Every once in awhile you have to consider that things go sideways. I really don’t like to consider that but it happens. Today I had plans and wanted to wander a little bit, see some people, do some things, and instead everything got turned around.
I did get a few things done. I managed to meet with someone and managed to buy some new shirts for myself. I’m very picky about the clothing that I wear and want it to be very very soft. I laughed when I was thinking about it because there is a scene in the original Batman, the very old one, where Batman has to use soft water soft in order to reanimate a series of people that have been deconstructed and dehydrated. The idea of soft water soft has always made me laugh.
At any rate tomorrow I get to see a bunch of stuff and maybe meet some fantastic people. I think it’s going to be fantastic even if it’s not fantastic simply because people are always amazing.
So as the sun sets on another day, you have to expect things to go sideways sometimes. It’s not the best thing in the world but it is a thing in the world. Pay attention, enjoy the moments, and keep finding your way, everyday, no matter what.
