The sun sets on another day…
I watched the lightning flash where a sunset should be, and still I knew the skies were full of beauty and high above the world was full of color and amazement. I felt good about it all, and enjoyed the almost sunset.
I talked to a lot of people today. Talking to people is a fun pastime but listening to them is even more fun. It was easy to open up a dialogue and then I got to listen as people told me all about their lives. It didn’t take long for me to start thinking about how fantastic all of these people are but it also opened up my thoughts about how people actually interact.
The highlight of my day turned out to be a discussion about my first book, Vengeful Son. I got into a discussion about the book and how Michael interacted with the world. The question was easy, how could someone with compassion and understanding be able to be an assassin. We had a long discussion and in the process laughed a little and talked about details in the book.
As he left I went and continue to write on the newest installment of the Masterson Files. There is no better inspiration than having readers tell you about your book and open up the door to more stories and more excitement.
So as the sun sets on another day, I hope you realize the world is a special place because of the people in it. Find a way to enjoy your life and in doing so make the world a better place, no matter what.
