The sun sets on another day…
There was some beauty today, but also a few interesting times as short rainstorms rolled by. I watched in awe as the sky shifted at twilight and enjoyed the sunset from afar.
I loved word games when I was a kid. They keep you young even if you’re old. I remember my grandfather constantly trying to fool me with questions like “if a plane crashed on the border of Michigan and Ohio where would they bury the survivors?” and I was surprised how many people fell for that.
It’s always fun to keep yourself young. We can go around the rugged rock with the ragged Rascal and determined how many Rs are in that in a matter of moments. We can also sing row row row your boat until we go into blue in the face mode. All of it is meaningful, all of it is good.
How do you stay young? Do you play kick the can and realize that it’s not an age that keeps us aging but instead it’s our mind. Have you found a way past the scariness that we all face, and can you focus on making the world a far better place by being young at heart?
Personally, I’m still a scary 18-year-old at heart.
So as the sun sets another day, I hope you have a wonderful day and find the connection to your youth. You are amazingly special and you deserve the world. Find your way to being young at heart every day, no matter what.
Sleep sweet, love life, and be young…
