The sun sets on another day…
Clouds came and went today but Beauty was everywhere. As I watched the waves today at the beach the ferry passed by turning over platforms and making children laugh as all of the white caps crashed against the shore.
When I watched all these waves it went from almost calm to chaotic in a matter of seconds. Kids were flipped and flopped and moments chopped and everything seemed upside down for just a second. Then it was all back to normal. The whole event took 15 or 20 minutes and the initial shock turned into craziness while kids ran back and forth in the high waves.
There is a saying that “tough times never last and tough people do”. The waves today are an example of that saying. It didn’t last long but it was fun and what we thought would be scary became a series of exciting times. No scares here.
When something really scary comes along do you embrace it or do you run from it? Do you realize how great things are when you get through them? Do you know how special you are when you overcome obstacles?
