The sun sets on another day…
It was a fairly pretty sunset. I watched from my parked car for a minute, smiled, and went in to see family. I was lost in the sunset for a minute, and felt as though the world was so full of beauty.
Kids are a lot of fun. They see the world through very open eyes and don’t close them for anything. As they look at the world and how the world turns they often are amusing to adults simply because of their innocence.
I find that people that are out of time are sometimes similar. These are the people who often didn’t keep up with what was going on with society, technology, or a variety of similar items. It’s an interesting and slippery slope.
When my daughter was young her innocence made me laugh as she had to make an animal for school and the animal was part porcupine. I never really understood the assignment of combining multiple animals into one, but she did so and I laughed about it and tried to make it a better place. It’s hard to know how the world is. It’s easy for a child to realize the world is a better place because they are constantly learning and constantly challenging their own views.
Why can’t we do the same? Instead of believing what we know why aren’t we challenging our own views constantly? Why are we finding that path or series of paths that just make us feel good about life and open our minds to possibilities?
I’d like to think that’s an easy question. I hope though, that people find a way to open their minds to the Myriad of possibilities that lay before us.
So as the sun sets on another day, why ask why? Because why and how and who and what open our minds to a lot of possibilities. We need to determine a path that keeps our mind open and helps us see the beauty and the world always, no matter what.
Sleep sweet, love life, and find your purpose…
