The sun sets on another day…
It was a beautiful day and then you’ve been more beautiful evening. The clear skies gave way to a stunning sunset where the world seemed to Shimmer and Flow until there was nothing left but color and the eventual darkness of night.
I was behind two motorcycle riders today and as I paced them and wandered along whatever path I was on, I missed riding. Now some of you may be against motorcycles, we would have to discuss it for hours and hours to determine why. A motorcycle can be just as safe as any car you just don’t have as much stuff hanging around you protecting you from the weather and june bugs.
On the other side riding gives you a feeling of freedom that’s just hard to describe. I watched, I enjoyed, and then they were gone and I was going another way.
As I finished my drive home I thought about the reasons that I had stopped riding. Except for the fact that my bike was not being cooperative, I didn’t really have any. It’s just something that I stopped to do ain’t all the time. Why in the world would I give up something I enjoyed just for no reason at all. Was there another reason that wasn’t at the forefront of my memory?
You ever do that? Do you ever find yourself missing out on something special for no reason at all? Why? If we only have 29,000 sunsets, why would we miss any of them? If something makes us happy or someone makes us happy, why would we set them aside?
Think about it.
So as the sun sets on another day, Love what you do and do what you love. Find a path that you enjoy every day, and make today the best day of your life, no matter what.
Sleep sweet, love life, and keep on riding…
