The sun sets on another day…
It was a beautiful sunset as I rushed around trying to get things done and make things better. Tomorrow is another day but tomorrow I might go down to Kentucky to visit a Comic-Con.
I was thinking about all of the things that have happened to me in Lexington. Lexington is a great City in the center of Kentucky. So much in the center that if you throw a dart at it I would say that it’s almost dead center, probably not exactly, but still pretty close. I saw a lot of great moments there and also many things that still hurt a little even though I have left the past behind.
I bought my first house in Lexington, I met people that are part of my life still while in Lexington. Lexington was the first city I lived in for more than a short time and as I look back I realize how few actual friends I was able to make in my life.
I did all sorts of things and lived all sorts of adventures and I had always thought that Lexington would be a place that I might be for a long long time. Now I may go back and wonder how much things have changed and how much the world revolves around it all. It is a unique question if you think about it simply because Lexington is a growing location even still.
Is there a place that you still have your heart? Is there a place that was amazing to you but as you go back you wonder about everything and everyone that was involved at the time? Is there a place where your world is a little better? If I go, I don’t know how it will go, but it will be an adventure.
So as the sun sets on another day, live for adventure and live every day as if it is your last. Define yourself and make your world the wonderful place it should be, no matter what.
