The sun sets on another day…
More rain? Say it isn’t so! Alabama has a rainy season and this is it, so I will soon be back in Michigan, and the rain will not be a daily occurence. Or will it? The sun high above shows its beauty for all who can see it, but for now, down below, drip drip drop it is.
We carry a lot. We carry even more than that. Each day we juggle dozens if not hundreds of items that no one else can understand because no one else is living our life. As we do so we often find ourselves wondering how much more we can carry. Maybe it’s a little, maybe it’s a lot more.
Do we really need to carry it all? Do we really need to worry about things that have no bearing on our lives? We are all incredible and that means you too. Hold on to everything you carry until you realize it’s no longer important and then make the decision to let it go. I find it wonderful that we can make ourselves so vulnerable and in the middle of it all find a way to do even more. Maybe it’s time to stop.
Take a moment and take stock. Do you carry too much? If you do, do you know why? Is there a reason you carry other people’s burdens? Is there a way to help yourself and not slide yourself down on the priority pole?
So as the sun sets on another day, keep finding the best path for you, and as you do so carry your load well and watch the loads of others. Be aware of what you need to be whole, and make the best of every day, no matter what.
Sleep sweet, love life, and carry on…
