The sun sets on another day…
There was beauty in the sky, and I watched the yellow become red, and the red fade to black. Still, the memory held on, and night was as glorious.
Everyone talks about time but does anyone truly understand it? I know a lot of strange things but time eludes me often. I remember very clearly going to church and falling off a Pew when I was just a year and a half old. I remember the days before and the days after that and my great great grandparents giggling with me in the small town we lived in.
Today is a long time later, a very long time and I still remember all that and a lot more but the passage of time eludes me. How did my daughter go from small human I could fit in one hand to a grown adult commanding a huge company. How did my son go from a small man to a father figure and perhaps a little more. That passage of time is hard to understand and hard to decode.
I’m happy for all of the people that know that time heals all wounds or the time helps you forget. I have not been so lucky but I understand the concept and for most, a better day is a matter of time. I suggest, and what has worked for me, is to spend the time trying to find ohh way to overcome any negatives and find the positive in our lives. Positives work, and I remember all the positives. The first time my son and my daughter’s hugged me, listening to my daughter play violin, and so much more.
You are part of a better world and we’ll make the world a better place each day if you just take a moment and give yourself the time. Make time work for you and enjoy life always, it’s worth it.
So as the sun so that’s on another day, I hope you have the time of your life, and I hope every day gives you hope and finds your way to make the world a better place. You are terrific always, no matter what.
