The sun sets on another day…
Yep. It sure was pretty. The sky was filled with utter excitement. The world seemed to be just a little better, and the sky, well, red and yellow, and orange faded to blues and violets and I was overwhelmed with beauty. It was good!
I went down a rabbit hole today talking to myself about a word. The word was thud. It’s not particularly pretty nor ugly it’s just a word but it’s a word that was richer than I thought. It is an example of onomatopoeia. A word that mimics a sound, and I laughed a little about that but wondered where it really came from. In the end my thoughts were answered by searching through multiple web pages that didn’t want an exorbitant subscription just to get the definition of a word.
I use the word occasionally in my writing, because bodies often fall to the ground with a sickening thud. I also occasionally drop heavy objects with a thud, not to be confused with a CHUD, which is a rather silly movie.
Do you ever go down a rabbit hole? Do you ever find yourself trying to understand even more? When you do so, do you find your way? I know, to me, it feels pretty good.
So as the sun sets on another day, I hope you find the path that feels good for you and I hope it always is full of curiosity and excitement. Somewhere along the way make your best day better for with a thud, and enjoy it more, no matter what.
Sleep sweet, love life, and wooha…
