The sun sets on another day…
As the sun was setting the walk was painful. It was not a long walk, but each step was filled with an underlying agony. Step by step the burning grew, and finally a bench was in sight. Maintaining composure as the bench got closer until finally for a moment there was rest.
Ever feel like that? Each step is painful and it seems like the rest we finally get? It happens but perhaps we should remember that it could be worded another way.
As the sun was setting the walk reminded me of life. It was bittersweet and reminded me each moment there was hope as i still felt alive and saw my salvation. Moments may pass, but i know as i move forward I will soon get to refresh my life so I can move on.
Same thoughts, different approach.
So as the sun sets on another day remember that those things in life we put a bad spin on can be our salvation, and may be there to truly remind us how lucky we are today.
