The sun sets on another day…
Do you ever wonder if the sun setting in ancient Egypt is the same sunset we watch today? Does it change with us? With the world? Well, if you consider the science of a sunset and that not two sunsets are the same you know that due to all sorts of stuff the sunsets change and as our world has changed they too have, even if it is just a subtle shift. So if we watch our sunset today, it is different, but it is the same as well.
By the same token people (as in the race) change as well as time rolls on. Perhaps though the changes are subtle as well. We see lots of new generations that may be new thoughts and new thinking, but haven’t we seen it before? Instead does it not seem like we repeat ever so subtly and are the same, but with new ideas.
So as the sun sets on another day, remember that new thoughts and ideas may seem new, but they may also be more subtle than we think. Accept new ideas, new people, and enjoy every day.
