The sun set son another day…
I laughed this evening as I was checking on the boat. The cover on it looked wet and as I grew close, it was distended and obviously so full of water it was about to burst, but it was still where I was, and I approached cautiously and slowly lifted the elastic bands only to be greeted by a massive “whoosh” of water that seemingly went on forever. Yes, it had rained, not a little, but more than enough. As the last of the water dripped slowly to the ground I looked up to the sky and gazed upon the beauty of a truly clear sky.
It had stormed for days, and in some places close, flood watches were in effect long after the storm, but the sky was crystal blue, and the day was comfortable and felt clean.
I know I know, it is not often we see the depth of a clear sky so perfect, but it is often that we find that after a storm, it is usually clearer. So we can look forward to the probability that even after the most difficult storm, the sky clears, and the day is at peace. So it is in life as well, in the depth of a storm, there will be an end. It will not be bad but instead will usually open doors to a cleared day.
So as the sun sets on another day, if you are weathering a storm, and the skies of your life are rumbling as torrents of problems continue their onslaught, remember, at the end of the storm, your skies will be clear, and you will see the world more clearly. Take a moment and batten down your hatches, and take all the storm can give and more, then watch the clearing, and enjoy your day. in the end, be the best person you can be, and help keep the skies of your life clear, no matter what.
Sleep sweet, love life, and smile each and every day…
