The sun sets on another day…
Time is precious, each and every day is an opportunity, life is an expression of who we are, and a doorway to who we want to be.
Yeah yeah, we have heard it all before.
I started this post with the intention of explaining once again about the woes of pining on the future, but I decided to change my stance, and focus on the 6 days left before Christmas. There are 6 days left, and kids are chomping at the bit, and people are excited beyond excited, as we realize yet another year has gone by. A few days from now it will be a new year, and 2017 will fade away, and all the things we have done and have been done will be nothing but a memory. What have you done this year that makes the year seem complete? What have you done that makes the world a better place?
We have six days now and 12 until the end of the year, it is a good year still, and there are things done in far less time that mean more. So what will you do, how will you spend these last few days? What is it that is important to you?
For me, I will write, and do, and try to be happy each and every day, and I will succeed. Each day I will make better than the last, and each moment will be a gift, to me, and to those who see it as such. To see this day as a gift, you only have to believe it.
So as the sun sets on another day, in 6 days, a holiday, in 12, a year, but today is what matters most. Let’s make the very best of it, and enjoy every moment we can.
